Anyone else having issues with BackBlaze?

Something changed in the past 2 weeks that causing back blaze to eat up all my virtual memory. Their help desk keeps insisting its spotlights fault, but I have spotlight set to ignore their folder ???

what changed in the past two weeks? software update?

Thank you for the data we got what we need, this will likely take a while to correct, but it seems that much of the may have subsided over the last couple of days.

I will let you know when a fix goes through.

Jesus that’s a horribly constructed sentence. Doesn’t explain shit.

they had me send them the log files. Hope they credit me for this month. although $5 is nothing, its going to take fucking forever to have them catch back up on my backups

Sounds like English isn’t his first language. Let us know what happens and what steps you took to fix it. I’m considering BackBlaze over CrashPlan right now. None of those two support NAS backups right? If it’s an external drive it has to be connected directly to the computer running the backup software correct?

    Thanks for posting this.
    Just to let you know, currently, everyone in support does speak English as a primary language, however, from reading this I can understand your doubts.

    I have posted this to the team as a reminder to re-read their email before they hit send.

    I can’t honestly say that I didn’t send this. I have sent mails like this in the past when I think something but then don’t type it out.
