New Touch screen black berry coming out end of the year.
Seeing how someone just put my iphone through the wash, I’m thinking about switching. ANyone have any info?

Verizons website shows the new storm coming out 11-21-08 for $199 with 2 year contract no word how much without contract.

any of the issues with the email people have talked about? i heard that the rollout didn’t go so smoothly.
A fellow OTer played with the one at the store and said it was awesome… of course he didn’t get to dig into all the features but im sure it will take some getting used too. We get ours on monday.
Thinking of upgrading from my curve to one does it have any of the bugs as far you can tell yet like the mms with sound killing the phone like hte curve has?
just wondering, how much is the actual plan? im a bit confused on the difference plans they offer.

when the curve first came out if you received and oped a mms file with a picture an an audio file your speaker would go out you had to take out batt and rebbot
Played with it a little at the VZW store. Thought it was a little bit laggy on the menus.
I got my storm the day it came out and i love it. The plan i got is $80 a month with unlimited data, 500 out of verizon texts and unlimited verizon texts (everyone around here is verizon) 450 talk minutes. I really haven’t noticed any lag problems with the phone. I really like the smart click for texting and internet surfing.
Other than being a touch screen phone, how does the storm compare to the bold? I am pretty interested in the storm, but I really don’t like the fact that it doesn’t have wifi.
I cant wait to try one on the canadian networks and see how messed up the software is
I got a Bold and my buddy got a storm. Bold blows the storm away for corporate use. For personal use, I might go for the storm, but have become partial to keyboards.

crackberry posted an OS update for the storm…. Im doing the install now. My storm was fine, but my friends was a flaming pile of shit. He said the install helped him big time so if you have a storm you should do the update, from the replies I’ve been reading it sounds like it runs faster and smoother.
I installed the leaked update and my phone is loads better.
I’m posting from my fiancees new storm, this thing rocks! I think i`ll get one in jan when I’m eligible for an upgrade. I`ve been through 8 Venus’s an I’m sick of it. Nice phone, but totally unreliable…
