Got an ipod, what’s a good RF modulator for my car?

I know there are a few shitty ones, I just want to purchase one that is good and won’t give me any feedback or static.
I’ve tried a few and never found any that didn’t give static.
troup has it all summed up. RF+good sound quality does not equate
Do you have a stereo deck that has an input jack you could use? Or maybe just get a new deck that has an ipod input. I got one and never once regretted it.

yeah, for me i used to make sure the radio that came with my car had a tape deck so i could use a tape adapter. now i make sure that they come with an aux input. i try to avoid the ipod inputs only because i’d hate to see Apple change their connector or something and find that it no longer works with new equipment. at least the auxiliary connector is just a standard 1/8" stereo plug.

LG Voyager Titanium

I need a new phone and I can’t decide what to get! I wanted a Blackberry, but I want more than just polyphonic ringtones.

This one:

Thats that one I’m currently looking at. Does anyone have it? Is it a good phone? Help!
I have a Voyager Titanium (after having gone through 5 faulty original Voyagers). The feature set is nice… navigation, TV, full keyboard but the phone has severe flaws. Mine reboots at least once a day. It’s also slow as heck in most things. It also doesn’t have any sort of multi-tasking (can’t listen to music while texting, or browsing the internet). I honestly can’t say I would recommend it at this point… as soon as my contract as up, I’m dumping it for something else (and most likely, another provider).

So I just got a iPhone 3G…

I’ve already looking into PwnageTool and Jailbreaking. But once I get that done, what are the benefits? Any cool things to do with a jailbroken iPhone?
jailbreak was to use Iphone on another network such as t-mobile. 3G I-phone is not compatible with t-mobile any way, so jailbreaking it would be completely pointless.

jailbreak = unlock

Any good phones out for At&A? or in the future?

I really like the storm but those fuckers are only releasing it for Verizon.
iPhone? i’ve got it and it seems fine so far.

pros:
– app store is great. yeah, it could be better, but i’ve used Blackberries for years and maybe downloaded 2 apps total.
– if you’re going to an all touch-screen phone, the iPhone has a great interface. i do miss buttons for dialing and using as a phone, but i’d get that with any touch screen phone. so, that would be the same with the Storm.

iPhone = iFail

Mine which I got in August 08 just came up with several dead pixels.

I restored it to no avail

I took it into the apple store.

15 min later I walked out with new iPhone.

apple customer service ftw.

brand new smooth unblemished 3G ftmfw!
uh, your post and your subject don’t seem to make sense together. you make it sound like you had this major problem, but really had a minor issue that was resolved immediately.

better?

Going to buy either a Bold or an iPhone in a month

next upgrade available march 12, and i’ve never had a smart phone before

which web browser is easiest to read?
Iphone is best browser…hands down. You can research reviews all over and just about everyone prefers the iphone’s safari.

Bold = The smartphone boasts a 2.75-inch half-VGA, non-touch screen that shows off 65,000 colors at a crisp 480×320-pixel resolution.
iPhone = At 3.5 inches and 480×320 pixels, the display is the same size as its predecessor, but displays slightly more dots per inch (163 vs.160), and still cranks out brilliant colors, sharp graphics, and fluid movements.

are in-ear earphones bad for your ear in the long run?

you know the type of earphones that stick right into your inner ear canal. i hear they’re good because they block out sound so you dont have to put the volume as high. but since the speakers are that much closer to your eardrums, wouldn’t they be bad for your hearing in the long run?

hope this is the right forum btw, thanks for any help
I really don’t know thats a good question. I know its easy to get the volume too high on earbuds and headphones in general. Hopefully somebody that knows more about it will chime in.

Just won an Omnia

I work for a verizon retailer and won our big February contest for this area… Grand Prize was a free Samsung Omnia!

I love that phone! Problem is though, I’m leaving for about 6 months and won’t be able to even use a phone (Basic training stuff) so I’m probably going to sell the darn thing… I could use $500 bucks a little more than a phone I won’t ever get to use anyway…

What sites do you suggest I go with for selling it? Is Ebay the best choice or have you had much luck w/ craigslist? OT yardsale?
