I just switched to Windows 7 and Office 2010, and I’m having a lot of trouble with them so far. For some retarded reason, Office 2010 didn’t correctly setup the default programs for opening certain files. I successfully made Word 2010 the default program for .doc and .docx files, but I’m struggling to make PowerPoint the default for .ppt and .pptx files. I can find PowerPoint in my start menu, but if I go into "Default Programs" or if I right click the file and go to "Open With," I can’t locate PowerPoint to set it as the Default. WTF?!?

I’m thinking about getting two tens for my G35, and my friend recommended these. I’m looking for accuracy and precision over raw power. Good choice or any other reccomendations?
Why not just get a single ‘good’ subwoofer? Instead of buying two average ones?
I had that sub for awhile, I liked that it got loud, but was disappointed overall with the accuracy. Then I upgraded to an Infinity Kappa Perfect 10, huuuge improvement. I didn’t realize how shitty the kicker sounded until I got the Infinity.

The obvious problem is getting Windows and all you programs/data onto your new drive your installing? How is that done?
I was most happy the times I loaded windows from disk and used a USB for the old drive and copied data across.
Yes, you will have to reload all your programs.
Starting school next week and I need a new laptop.
Going to be using for the average interenet, school work and some light gaming. My budget is around $650. I really don’t want to go much over that
Found these 2.

whats the best free software to automaticly delete duplicates from itunes? i mean ones that imported twice not always actual duplicate files
There are plenty scripts there to do it. Tons of great scripts for everything else you’d ever wanna do in iTunes too.
I’ve been meaning to get my MCSE/MCITP for a few years, but could never really dedicate the time and energy for self-study. Found a 14day bootcamp for MCITP SA that’s a bit over 4g, so I’d have to take money out of savings to afford it.
Any thoughts? Experiences?
I’ve been out of the loop for a long time. The market was oversaturated back then with these certs, how is it today? How’s the demand in today’s economy?
MCITP is meant to be the new MCSE. I think MCSE has been retired by Microsoft, but I’m not 100% on that.

Too poor to go get a new Mac right now.
I’ve got a G4 Quicksilver w/ dual 1 ghz processors, 1.5 gigs of RAM and a 500 gig HD… Also have a G4 PowerBook Titanium, w/ 1 ghz processor and 512 mb RAM… I use the G4 tower daily, but the PowerBook has been all but retired…
I’ve been running intel for quite a while now, but I’m looking into getting a PowerMac G5 for my home server. It’s cheap and will get the job done. Still have an iMac G4 around, though.

Pretty cool stuff
read more here:
At first I thought this was kind of cool. Then I started reading the FAQ. You have to be logged in for it to work in Windows. Well… if you’ve actually set up your laptop properly, you have a password that prevents that. And if the thief was smart, he’d wipe the drive and you’re back to square one.
I wrote a program a long time ago to prevent unauthorized use of my computer without requiring me to type in a password…

I’m picking up my copy of Final Fantasy XIV this week, and I need your help.
Can anyone recommend a good video card for me? I’m not wanting to break the bank. Price range from $99-$199. I have a microcenter next to me that I planned on purchasing from or Newegg if the deal is better. I kinda prefer Nvidia over ATI (past experience). Currently I have about a 2 year old card; Nvidia 8600GT. Keep in mind that FFXIV is pretty video card heavy.
